Description and Application

Teadit® Style 2001 is diagonally braided from pure graphite yarn with a minimum purity of 99%, treated with corrosion inhibitor and densified with pure graphite powder. High performance packing for pumps and valves, primarily intended for high pressure- / high temperature steam valves and similar difficult sealing applications. Caters for a wide range of aggressive media at both very low and very high temperatures; low coefficient of friction for high torque operation; excellent thermal conductivity.

This extremely versatile packing can be used for pumps and valves in the high temperature / high pressure environments prevailing in power stations, boiler houses, petrochemical refineries, steel mills and similar industries. It is suitable for steam, water, oils, condensate, alkalies, acids, solvents, paints, varnishes and most chemicals with the exception of highly oxidizing media.

It is suitable for an extremely wide range of applications, TEADIT 2001 can reduce stock inventories considerably. Very little loss of volume at high temperatures. The low density of style 2001 results in excellent yield per kilogram!
